Food That Just Works

Every dish here felt thoughtful and perfectly put together, and I was honestly blown away by how well the drinks complemented the flavors—who knew non-alcoholic pairings could be this exciting?

Cocoa Butter Scallops

These scallops were light and delicate, almost melting in my mouth, while the chickpeas added just the right amount of crunch. Then comes the black truffle deepening the flavors with that luxurious umami richness.  The bitter tonic with lemon juice alongside it? Genius.

Chianina Beef Tartare

This dish was next-level rich—the egg yolk brought that silky smoothness while the Chianina beef kept everything light and flavorful. The drink pairing—a mix of citrus, bergamot, tonic water, and essential oils—was unexpectedly refreshing, cutting through the richness in just the right way.

Tagliatelle Egg Pasta with Black Truffle

Ever had pasta where you can really taste the truffle? This one nailed it.  Creamy, delicate, and packed with that earthy truffle goodness—it’s the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes and savor the moment.

Linguine Pasta with Bisque, Roasted Baby Cuttlefish, and Red Prawns 

This was seafood perfection. The red prawns were unbelievably soft, and the bisque tied everything together with its deep, comforting flavor. Not a single dry bite—just creamy, well-balanced pasta that left me seriously happy.

Glazed Sea Bass in Lettuce Broth

A light, refreshing dish that lets the natural flavors of the sea bass shine. The lettuce broth and parsley oil added a subtle brightness—clean, simple, and beautifully executed.

Cube Roll "Etrusco Carni" 

This Umbrian rib eye was incredibly tender, packed with natural flavors, and just effortlessly enjoyable. Nothing overly complicated, just high-quality meat, cooked right.

Tartufo & Tiramisu

To close, a decadent Tartufo, featuring truffle, hazelnuts, cocoa, and salted caramel. And finally, a classic Tiramisu with homemade ladyfinger sponge and mascarpone cream—perfection in every bite.

The Drinks Were a Surprise Hit

I didn’t expect the non-alcoholic drink pairings to stand out this much, but they totally did. Every sip felt like an extension of the meal—whether it was the bitter tonic with scallops or the citrusy bergamot mix with the beef tartare, the drinks elevated everything rather than just sitting on the side.
